This unpainted adapter is designed to be integrated into drywall during new construction to deliver a seamless finished appearance. The adapter includes a depth calibration mechanism to ensure the device sits flush with the finished wall surface. It is supplied unpainted so it can be finished with the surrounding wall paint and texture after installation. For concrete or masonry installations an alternate concrete adapter model is available separately to provide correct mounting interface.
