This Wall-Smart new construction adapter provides a flush in-wall mounting solution for EL-ITP-8 touch panels. The adapter secures the touch panel in a finished wall plane while allowing easy access for insertion and removal. It is supplied unpainted so it can be finished as part of the wall surface.
Key features include a flush mount profile, paintable surface that accepts any wall texture or color, and a depth calibration mechanism to align the touch panel precisely. Panel retention and removal are handled by a combination of manual push insertion and magnetic detachment for convenient servicing. The adapter requires no power and is purely mechanical in operation.
Technically the adapter is built from moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI to provide stable long-term installation in interior walls. Physical dimensions are 274.3mm x 215.9mm x 43.8mm and the unit weighs approximately 2.1 lbs. The adapter is designed for standard 1/2in drywall installations and includes provisions for depth adjustment.
The adapter is compatible with EL-ITP-8-WH/BK touch panels and is intended to integrate with standard wall construction workflows. For concrete or block wall installations a dedicated concrete box 276×218 P/N 10-01-131 is available separately. For thicker drywall (5/8in) a 1/8in shim pack P/N 10-01-067 is recommended to maintain correct panel depth.
