The WS NC FOR HZ-FP-G2 is an in-wall new construction adapter designed to install an HZ-FP-G2 faceplate flush with finished walls. It supports low-voltage Horizon devices and secures the faceplate and modules inside the wall cavity. The adapter is supplied unpainted to be finished as part of the wall surface.
Key design features include a depth calibration mechanism to set the faceplate flush with the finished surface and a paintable finish that accepts wall paint and texture. The adapter mounts firmly to standard framing members and holds low-voltage devices securely while allowing easy access for insertion and removal. The unit is engineered to remain flush with the wall after drywall and finishing are complete.
Technical details include an overall footprint of 200mm by 204mm with a depth of 44.0mm, and a shipped weight of 0.6Kg (1.32lbs). There is no power supply required as the adapter is a passive mechanical mounting accessory. It is intended for installation in 1/2in drywall; a 1/8in shim pack P/N 10-01-067 is available for use with 5/8in drywall.
Connectivity and compatibility are focused on low-voltage Horizon devices and the HZ-FP-G2 faceplate model only; faceplate and devices are not included. For concrete or block wall installations use the WS Concrete Box 202×206 P/N 100-1-138 sold separately and follow the concrete installation instruction 10-04-00103-INS. Standard drywall installation follows Wall-Smart instruction 10-04-00101-INS and mirrors common new-construction practices.
