Description
ONErack 4RU Basic Kit is a universal powered mounting system designed to convert externally powered devices into clean, serviceable rack modules. The chassis ships with six mounting modules installed and accepts up to sixteen modules total. It provides a standardized slide-in module form factor that simplifies rack organization and field service.
The system features multi-voltage selectors that allow each module to offer two independent voltages simultaneously. Each selector supports seven voltage settings and supplies up to 35 watts per output. Active fan cooling supports higher density installations and sustained operation in populated racks.
Voltage options available on the mounted selectors include 5V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V, 13.5V, 18V, and 24V. Power distribution can be supplied from a single PSU or optional dual-redundant supplies rated at 250W standard or 450W redundant. A pass-thru option is available for custom powering schemes and external supplies.
Connectivity is handled through the slide-in module architecture and pass-thru points, enabling connection of device power leads and custom cabling. The chassis is compatible with devices from any manufacturer that use external DC power, and additional rails are available to support more mounting modules. Optional covers and a cable management kit help maintain airflow and organized cabling.
This kit is suitable for broadcast racks, AV closets, streaming and production gear, and lab environments where many small devices need centralized power and service access. The slide-in modules reduce downtime by making replacements fast and predictable. The multi-voltage capability reduces the need for multiple power bricks and simplifies inventory.
Installation is straightforward – rack-mount the 4RU chassis, install modules, set voltage selectors, and connect the chosen PSU. Front access and modular panels improve serviceability and minimize rack disturbances. The steel chassis and active cooling are built for continuous operation in professional AV environments.
