Download Manual ONErack 4RU is a powered universal mounting kit designed to convert externally powered small devices into slide-in modules for rack installation. The system organizes randomly sized equipment into serviceable modules while providing centrally managed power distribution. This kit ships as a 4RU chassis populated with six mounting modules and expandable capacity.
The chassis supports up to two voltage selectors per module enabling simultaneous output of two DC voltages from each slot. Each selector is user-configurable to seven indexed voltages: 5V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V, 13.5V, 18V and 24V. The voltage selectors deliver up to 35 watts per selector which supports a wide range of small AV devices.
Active cooling is integrated into the design to maintain safe operating temperatures in high density deployments. A pass-thru option allows custom powering schemes to be implemented when third-party power or unique connectors are required. Optional accessories include a dual-redundant 450W power supply, additional mounting modules, covers and a cable management system.
Connectivity is simplified by the slide-in module format which preserves device input and output access while consolidating power distribution. The kit is compatible with equipment from any manufacturer because mounting is based on a universal module form factor rather than specific chassis dimensions. Each slot can simultaneously provide two voltages to connected devices when needed.
Typical applications include rack-mounting single-board computers, media players, small encoders/decoders and other externally powered modules where tidy power management and fast serviceability are required. The product supports dense deployments – a single 4RU chassis can power up to 32 devices using modular power arrangements. Larger 5RU or 6RU variants increase device capacity to 64.
Installation is straightforward – modules slide into rails and electrical connections are made via the integrated power distribution system which reduces cabling and setup time. The chassis and modules are built for rack environments with durable construction and service access for quick swaps.
