Description
The AT-HDVS-TX is a compact HDBaseT transmitter and input switcher designed to digitize and forward HDMI and VGA/audio signals over a single category cable. It accepts dual HDMI and VGA/audio inputs and sends the selected source to an HDBaseT receiver. When paired with an AT-HDVS-RX receiver the unit supports automated display control and simplified system operation.
Key features include auto-switching between inputs and automatic display On/Off when used with a compatible receiver. The transmitter supports power over category cable PoCc so it can be powered from a compatible receiver or a local power supply. The system also includes HDCP management, RS-232 input selection, and software to simplify RS-232 programming.
Performance is tailored for common AV installations with support for up to 1080p and VESA resolutions to 1920×1200. The device provides a 6.75Gbps bandwidth and passes multi-channel audio including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. HDBaseT distances reach 230ft (70m) over CAT6a/7 and 197ft (60m) over CAT5e/6 depending on cabling.
Connectivity comprises dual HDMI inputs plus a VGA/audio input and a single HDBaseT RJ45 output to the receiver. Control options include RS-232 input selection and PoCc to supply power to the transmitter or receiver as required. The transmitter is compatible with Atlona HDVS receivers and recommended power supplies and wall-plate transmitters.
Typical applications include meeting rooms, classrooms and conference spaces that require legacy VGA support alongside HDMI sources. The AT-HDVS-TX is suitable for teleconferencing environments where HDCP management and reliable switching are important. It also supports AV system upgrades where a single category cable run is preferred for AV, control and power.
Installation is simplified by under-table mounting brackets and three-way power options including PoCc from receiver, PoCc to receiver and a local power supply. The small form factor and standard control interfaces make integration straightforward for integrators and AV technicians. Built to commercial AV standards the unit includes required safety and EMC certifications.
