Description
The AT-OME-RX11 is an HDBaseT receiver designed to extend HDMI video, embedded audio, control, and Ethernet up to 330ft over category cable. It receives up to 4K/60 4:2:0 video and supports HDCP 2.2 to pass protected content between authenticated devices. The receiver also accepts RS-232 and IP control signals for integrated system management.
The unit provides two-channel audio de-embedding to a balanced analog output and passes through multi-channel audio formats including Dolby and DTS variants. It supports HDMI data rates to 10 Gbps and delivers Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) over HDBaseT to compatible transmitters. Front panel LEDs indicate power and HDBaseT link status to simplify setup and troubleshooting.
Performance specifications include support for 4K/60 4:2:0 and 4K/30 4:4:4 sources, HDMI data rates up to 10 Gbps, and HDBaseT transmission distances to 330ft using suitable cable. Use CAT5e/6 for 1080p distances and CAT6a/7 for 4K/UHD at maximum range. The device supports PCM and major Dolby and DTS audio formats.
Connectivity includes an HDBaseT HDBT input, HDMI output, balanced analog audio output for de-embedded two-channel PCM, Ethernet for IP pass-through, RS-232 for serial control, and a USB port for firmware updates. The Ethernet port is intended for IP pass-through with the transmitter and the receiver can be locally powered or act as a PoE source for supported transmitters.
Common applications include AV presentation spaces, meeting rooms, and video conferencing installations where long-distance HDMI extension and local audio extraction are needed. The OME-RX11 pairs with Atlona Omega Series switchers and legacy Atlona transmitters to provide audio de-embedding for external amplification and speakers. It is suitable for installations requiring HDCP 2.2 compliance and extended cable runs.
Installation is simplified by the low-profile 1.02 inch (26 mm) enclosure that fits under tables, inside furniture, or behind displays. Field-upgradable firmware via USB and straightforward LED diagnostics reduce maintenance time and allow easy updates. The unit ships with surface-mount hardware and an external universal power supply and is backed by a 10 year limited product warranty.
