Description
The AT-OME-ST31A is a compact 3×1 HDBaseT switcher and transmitter that consolidates HDMI and USB-C sources into mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs. It supports 4K/UHD content at up to 60 Hz and provides audio de-embedding for local sound reinforcement. The unit is HDCP 2.2 compliant and designed for integration into modern AV systems.
This switcher accepts two HDMI inputs plus a USB-C input that supports AV Alternate Mode and optional device charging. Local HDMI and USB-C ports support high-bandwidth 4K HDR formats and 4:4:4 chroma sampling while the HDBaseT output carries video, audio, control, Ethernet and PoE over a single category cable. The HDMI output can also perform automatic 4K-to-1080p downscaling for mixed-sink environments.
Video performance includes 4K/UHD transmission at 60 Hz (4:4:4 locally, 4:2:0 over HDBaseT) and HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps. HDBaseT distribution extends up to 100 meters (330 ft) using appropriate cabling for 1080p and CAT6a/7 for 4K/UHD. The unit routes multi-channel audio formats and de-embeds two-channel PCM to a balanced analog output with independent volume and three-band EQ.
Connectivity options include two HDMI inputs, one USB-C input, mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs, Ethernet over HDBaseT, RS-232 and IP control, and CEC support for compatible displays. The USB-C port supports AV and device charging when used with the optional AT-PS-245-D4 power supply. The OME-ST31A also supports EDID and HDCP management via the integrated web GUI.
Typical applications include classroom and lecture systems where a confidence monitor is required, conference-room lecterns where the switcher can be remotely powered over HDBaseT, and presentation tables that need HDMI and USB-C connectivity for guest laptops and mobile devices. The mirrored outputs and downscaling make it ideal for mixed-resolution installations and staged presentations.
Installation is simplified by remote PoE powering from a compatible Atlona receiver or switcher or local powering with an optional supply. The low-profile 1.02 inch enclosure fits under tables and in furniture and front-panel LEDs provide local status for power, link and input selection. Web-based configuration and AMS support enable centralized management and field-updatable firmware ensures long-term support.
