Description
The AT-OMNI-324 is an IP to USB adapter that extends USB peripheral connectivity over a Gigabit Ethernet network. It provides a four-port USB hub designed to pair with an OmniStream host to route USB devices across IP. The unit supports USB 2.0 data rates and is intended to centralize USB peripherals on a network for conferencing and collaboration systems.
The AT-OMNI-324 supports up to 480 Mbps USB 2.0 signaling and can accommodate high bandwidth devices such as PTZ cameras and speakerphones as well as HID class devices like keyboards and mice. Up to seven AT-OMNI-324 endpoints can be paired to a single OmniStream 311 host to scale peripheral distribution. Front panel LEDs give status feedback for power, link, host connectivity, and USB signal presence.
Performance specifications include USB 2.0 signaling and a maximum data rate of 480 Mbps over a standard Gigabit Ethernet link. The device uses standard CAT5e/6 cabling with a per-hop distance of up to 330 ft / 100 m. Power is supplied by an external 24 V DC adapter rated at 0.75 A and the unit operates in ambient temperatures from 32 to 122 F / 0 to 50 C.
Connectivity includes four Type A USB 2.0 ports, one shielded RJ45 LAN port, a 3.5 mm utility jack, a DC 24 V power connector, and a recessed pairing push button. The system is compatible with Atlona Management System AMS 2.0 for USB routing and can integrate with Atlona Velocity control for centralized management. It supports common USB peripherals used in meeting rooms and AV installations.
Typical applications include huddle rooms where a central PC needs access to a PTZ camera and USB audio peripherals, meeting rooms that require a wall-mounted touch display to interface with a laptop, and larger AV systems that require distributed USB endpoints. The compact low-profile enclosure and surface mounting brackets make installation flexible in furniture or on walls. It is suitable for AV integrators deploying networked USB endpoints alongside OmniStream AV encoders and decoders.
Installation is straightforward with surface mounting brackets and an external universal power supply included. The device ships with an installation guide and uses a recessed pairing button to link to an OmniStream host. The compact 1 inch high enclosure and standard connectors support discreet placement and simple cable management in professional AV environments.
