Description
The AT-PRO5-101-RX is an SDVoE receiver designed to accept AV, control, and Ethernet streams from a PRO5 matrix switcher. It receives uncompressed 4K/UHD video and multi-channel audio over 10GbE links and provides HDMI output plus analog stereo de-embedded audio. This receiver supports HDR formats and HDCP 2.3 to handle modern protected content.
The receiver’s core capabilities include SDVoE 10GbE connectivity over copper or fiber, support for 4K/60 at 4:4:4 chroma, HDR10 / HDR10+ / Dolby Vision / HLG compatibility, and multi-channel audio pass-through. It offers EDID and HDCP management, remote or local powering options, and front-panel LEDs for quick status checks. Audio de-embedding provides balanced analog output for integration with external audio systems.
Technically, the unit supports HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps and is HDCP 2.3 compliant. Video performance includes 4K/UHD resolution at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Audio formats passed and supported include PCM, Dolby Digital family formats, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS formats, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X. Firmware updates are field-installable via the matrix switcher web GUI or Velocity Device Manager.
Connectivity options include an RJ45 10GbE port for CAT6a extension up to 330 ft (100 meters) and an SFP+ cage for compatible fiber transceivers to extend signals from tens of meters up to 10 kilometers. The receiver carries Gigabit Ethernet, bidirectional IR and RS-232 control, and HDMI output plus balanced analog audio output. Power can be supplied remotely via IEEE 802.3af PoE from the PRO5-MX810 or locally via the included AT-PS-48083-C power supply.
Typical applications include multi-zone AV distribution in education, hospitality, corporate facilities, houses of worship, and judicial spaces where long-distance 4K HDR signal extension is required. The PRO5-101-RX works as a dedicated endpoint in PRO5 systems to deliver reliable AV and control to remote displays and projectors. System designers will find it suitable for installations requiring fiber extensions or where centralized matrix-based management is preferred.
Installation and setup are simplified by a low-profile 1.02 inch (26 mm) enclosure that fits behind displays or above projectors and includes surface mounting hardware. Configuration and management are available locally or centrally via the PRO5-MX810 using the integrated web GUI or Velocity Device Manager. The front panel LEDs and TCP/IP control options make field troubleshooting and maintenance efficient and predictable.
