Description
The AT-PRO5-MX810 is an 8×10 HDMI matrix switcher that combines HDMI inputs and SDVoE 10GbE extension outputs to deliver multi-zone AV distribution. It routes eight HDMI sources to two local HDMI outputs and eight SDVoE extension outputs for PRO5 receivers. The unit supports 4K/UHD resolutions and HDR formats for contemporary display systems.
Key features include eight HDMI inputs, two HDMI outputs, and eight SDVoE extension outputs with RJ45 or SFP+ fiber connectivity – each SDVoE output transports video, embedded audio, Gigabit Ethernet, IR, and RS-232. The matrix supports 4K60 4:4:4, HDR10, HDR10 Plus, Dolby Vision, and HLG while remaining HDCP 2.3 compliant. Onboard audio de-embedding provides eight balanced analog stereo outputs with per-channel volume and mute control.
Performance is engineered for professional AV environments – the PRO5-MX810 uses SDVoE over 10GbE for point-to-point, full-bandwidth video and audio transmission. Pixel clock supports up to 600 MHz and color depths up to 12-bit are supported. HDCP management, EDID control, and support for multi-channel audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X ensure compatibility with modern content and devices.
Connectivity options are extensive – each extension output offers an RJ45 port for CAT6a extension up to 330 ft and an SFP+ cage for fiber modules to extend up to 10 km. The matrix supplies IEEE 802.3af PoE to PRO5 receivers when using copper extension links. Control interfaces include TCP/IP, RS-232, IR in/out, CEC per output, and a web GUI for configuration and firmware updates.
This switcher is well suited for lecture halls, corporate lobbies, hospitality venues, courtrooms, and divisible room installations where multiple sources and long-distance extension are required. Video wall processing and 4K scaling are available at the receiver endpoints, enabling mixed-resolution deployments and creative display layouts. The matrix supports centralized management through Velocity Device Manager for large installations.
The PRO5-MX810 is rack-mountable in a 2U enclosure and uses temperature-based active cooling to keep noise below 20 dBSPL at 1 meter. Front panel LEDs provide power and status indicators for local troubleshooting without network access. Field-updatable firmware and comprehensive control system integration reduce commissioning time and simplify long-term maintenance.
