The module installs in standard SFP+ ports and is compatible with NETGEAR M5300 M7100 and M7300 series switches as well as select Smart and Plus switches, enabling flexible uplink and aggregation options.
With an LC duplex connector the transceiver supports link distances up to 10 km (6.2 miles) over singlemode fiber and provides a straightforward way to add 10G optical ports to supported switches.
