The CLS-AOCU32/FF-25 is an active USB-C to USB-C AOC hybrid cable designed to deliver video, data and power over a single connection. It carries 4K@60 video and high-speed USB data while also supporting up to 100W power delivery. This cable is intended for reliable connectivity in professional AV and computing environments.
Key features include USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ data transfer up to 10Gbps, DisplayPort Alt Mode support for 4K@60 4:4:4 video, and a built-in K-Lock for secure connections. The cable actively manages signal integrity over long runs to preserve video quality and data throughput. It simultaneously supports USB 2.0 channels and gigabit Ethernet when available.
Technical performance delivers up to 10Gbps throughput when connected to USB 3.2 hosts and devices, DP Alt Mode supporting 4K@60 with two lanes allocated to video and two lanes to data. Power delivery is rated to 20V at 5A for 100W charging. Electrical characteristics include conductor resistance specifications for both 28AWG and 20AWG conductors.
Connectivity is provided by reversible USB Type-C male K-Lock connectors on both ends with nickel plating and gold pins. The cable jacket is PVC LSHF and the cable diameter is approximately 5.8mm with a 36mm bending radius. It is backward compatible with USB 1.0 through USB 3.0 devices and supports common peripherals such as monitors, webcams, printers and scanners.
Typical use cases include connecting 4K displays to laptops, linking USB-C enabled workstations to docking stations, and integrating cameras or other peripherals where a single cable must carry video, data and power.
