The CLS-AOCU32/FF-66 is an Active USB-C AOC Hybrid cable designed to carry video, data and power over a single reversible connection. It provides USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ throughput alongside USB 2.0 channels and DP Alt Mode video support. The cable integrates K-Lock connectors on selected lengths for secure physical connectivity.
Key features include support for 4K@60 video at 4:4:4 color sampling, up to 10 Gbps data lanes, and 60W power delivery. The cable dynamically negotiates lane configuration to allocate two or four lanes for video or data as required by the connected devices. The Active Optical Cable architecture preserves signal integrity over extended lengths compared to passive copper USB-C cables.
Performance specifications include USB 3.2 Gen 2 data at up to 10 Gbps in parallel with USB 2.0, DP Alt Mode video up to 4K@60, and 20V 3A power delivery for up to 60W charging. The cable supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet passthrough where supported by host and device. Electrical and conductor parameters are specified to maintain consistent transmission characteristics across the cable run.
Connectivity is provided via reversible USB Type-C male K-Lock connectors with nickel plating and gold pins on both ends.
