Description
The CP-AOCH/PF-131 is an active optical HDMI cable engineered to deliver high-resolution video and full digital audio over long distances. It provides a fiber-based link that preserves HDMI signals and supports resolutions up to 4K@60 4:4:4. The cable is plenum rated and designed for installations that require fire-safe cabling.
Key features include support for 4K60 4:4:4 video, up to 18 Gbps data throughput, and compliance with HDCP and EDID. The cable also supports Deep Color and x.v.Color and carries lossless multi-channel audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. K-Lock connectors and 24K gold-plated contacts ensure reliable mating and signal integrity.
Performance specifications deliver up to 18 Gbps bandwidth and maintain full 4:4:4 chroma at 3840×2160 and 4096×2160 resolutions. The active optical construction uses OM3 multimode fiber and extends HDMI over long runs up to 100 meters. The cable assembly features a 4.0 mm plenum-rated jacket and mechanical ratings for crush and tensile strength.
Connectivity is provided via male HDMI Type A connectors on both ends, one end fitted with a K-Lock restraint and an external USB Type A power pigtail for displays that require auxiliary power. The cable supports standard HDMI EDID and HDCP handshakes for broad display compatibility. It draws power from the video source when available or from an external USB supply for the display end.
Typical applications include medical and EMI-sensitive environments, AV distribution for digital signage, conference rooms and auditoriums, and any installation that requires long HDMI runs through plenum spaces. The fiber optics construction eliminates copper susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and ensures signal stability over distance.
Installation is simplified by plug and play operation and durable mechanical construction designed for professional use. The integrated stainless steel corrugated tube, Kevlar reinforcement and TPU outer layers protect internal fibers against pulling and compression. K-Lock connectors provide 15 lbs restraining force for secure connections in mobile and fixed installations.
