Description
The CP-AOCH/PF-66 is a high-speed HDMI active optical cable engineered to deliver uncompressed 4K video over long distances. It uses fiber optics to maintain signal integrity and supports 4K@60 4:4:4, ensuring accurate color and sharp detail. This cable is designed for demanding environments where EMI resistance and durability are required.
Key features include an 18 Gbps data rate, HDCP and EDID support, and compatibility with deep color and x.v.Color technologies. The cable carries multichannel lossless audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Its K-Lock connectors and rugged outer construction provide strong pull resistance and secure connections.
Performance-wise the cable supports resolutions up to 3840×2160 and 4096×2160 at 60 Hz with full chroma sampling. The active optical design allows runs up to 100 meters while preserving bandwidth and stability. The cable draws power from the video source and includes a USB pigtail for external power when needed.
Connectivity is via male HDMI Type A gold-plated connectors on both ends; the display-end connector features K-Lock retention and an external USB type A power input. The internal fiber is OM3 multimode configured as 8xMM fiber within a 4.0 mm plenum-rated jacket. The cable assembly includes integrated stainless steel corrugated tube, Kevlar reinforcement, and impact resistant connector covers for mechanical protection.
Typical applications include medical displays, broadcast studios, digital signage, and installations near high EMI sources where copper HDMI cannot reliably perform. The cable supports professional audio formats and maintains HDCP and EDID information across long distances. Its lightweight plenum jacket and small diameter make routing through conduits and ceiling spaces straightforward.
Installation is plug-and-play with no additional configuration required in most systems, and the K-Lock retention reduces accidental disconnection during maintenance. The robust mechanical design provides high tensile and crush resistance for repeated handling and pull-through operations. Overall, the CP-AOCH/PF-66 balances optical performance and field-grade durability for professional AV deployments.
