Description
The D-RC2ST is a two-channel remote control designed to provide simple, reliable source selection and routing for AV systems. It presents two momentary pushbuttons on a professional front panel, each with an adjacent LED that indicates the selected channel. On power-up the unit defaults to Source 1 and allows immediate selection of Source 2 by pressing the second button.
The control provides open-collector switching to select one of two module functions and features two red LED indicators to show the active selection. Outputs are current-limited open-collector drivers suitable for triggering compatible RDL modules. The front panel momentary buttons provide tactile selection while the LEDs provide unambiguous visual feedback.
Technically, the D-RC2ST uses a detachable terminal block for power input and remote outputs and requires a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply. The open-collector outputs are current-limited (25 mA) and the unit operates across an ambient range of -10 C to 55 C. The device is compact and ships in a small cardboard package with listed package dimensions and weights.
Connectivity supports single-shielded pair or 3-conductor remote cabling when only one trigger output is required, and both outputs may be used for more complex switching networks. The D-RC2ST is compatible with RDL ST-SSR1 solid-state audio switches, RDL TX-MVX video switching transmitters, and RDL ST-RX2 audio routing modules. A detachable terminal block simplifies installation and wiring termination.
Typical applications include selection between two audio sources, routing audio to two destinations, or sending a simple two-way trigger to other control modules. The unit is suitable for integration into presentation systems, conference rooms, and distributed audio installations where simple, reliable remote control is required.
