Description
The DB-RLC2 is a remote level control panel engineered to provide local or distributed level adjustment and visual level indication. It accepts ramp control signals and reports user actions back to compatible RDL control modules. The unit is supplied in a compact black remote panel that mounts in a standard US electrical box.
The control interface includes two momentary pushbuttons labeled UP and DOWN and a 10-segment visual level display. Pressing either pushbutton sends a corresponding control signal to the connected RDL control module. When used with compatible RU-VCA2A modules, simultaneous UP and DOWN button presses recall the RU-VCA2A preset level.
Key technical attributes include a 0 to 10 Vdc ramp input and pushbutton outputs intended to interface with RDL control modules. The DB-RLC2 requires a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply drawing 75 mA. The remote connects via a detachable terminal block for straightforward wiring.
Connectivity is optimized for RDL ecosystems and other devices that accept 0-10 V ramp signals and remote switch closures. The detachable terminal block provides straightforward integration into rack or wall-mounted systems. The panel is compatible with RDL ST-RG1 Ramp Generator and RU-VCA2A digitally controlled attenuator modules.
Typical applications include distributed volume control in houses of worship, conference rooms, classrooms, and corporate AV installations where multiple control or indication points are needed. The compact trim fits standard wall boxes to provide consistent user access across locations. The 10-segment display offers clear visual feedback of system level at each control station.
Installation is simple and fast, with mounting to standard US electrical boxes or RDL WB- or SMB-series boxes and a detachable terminal block for wiring. The panel is built with a professional aesthetic intended to match typical AV wall plates and control surfaces. Its power and environmental ratings support typical indoor AV installations while providing reliable operation.
