The DB-RN12 is a wall-mounted bi-directional Dante/AES67 audio interface designed to convert a single analog mic/line input to network audio and to convert two network channels to balanced analog outputs. It provides a front-panel XLR mic/line input and a front XLR output plus two rear balanced line outputs on a detachable wiring block. This unit is PoE powered and fits a standard US single-gang electrical box for convenient installation.
Key features include selectable mic and line gain settings, remote-selectable P48 phantom power, and software-controlled attenuators on each analog output. The front-panel XLR input offers software-selectable gains of 35 dB, 42 dB and 59 dB for microphone use and unity or 12 dB for line use. Connectivity includes an RJ45 network port for Dante/AES67 audio, a front XLR input and XLR output, and two rear detachable wiring block outputs for balanced line-level distribution. It is compatible with RDL network remote controls and standard Dante management tools.
