Description
The EVF-1122D/64-FGB is a fully-weatherized two-way loudspeaker designed for reliable sound reinforcement in exposed installations. It combines a 12in low-frequency transducer and a 3in titanium compression driver on a rotatable 60 x 40 constant-directivity waveguide. The enclosure is fiberglass coated over weather-resistant birch for extended outdoor durability.
Key features include a DH7N 3in titanium compression driver, DVX3121A 12in LF transducer, and a 60 x 40 rotatable waveguide that maintains directivity for consistent coverage. The internal crossover uses fourth-order slopes with HF protection and EQ for smooth vocal reproduction. Passive/active operation is selectable via an externally accessible jumper.
Performance metrics include 97 dB sensitivity and a calculated maximum SPL of 131 dB, a system rating of 600 W continuous and 2400 W peak, plus active ratings of LF 500 W and HF 75 W continuous. Frequency range specifications indicate extended LF response and vocal-range optimization. The cabinet and transducer designs emphasize low distortion and high intelligibility at elevated SPLs.
Connectivity is handled by dual four-pin 10 AWG Phoenix/Euro Block screw-terminals with a CDG dual-gland-nut input panel cover option for weatherized installations. The speaker supports passive operation or active bi-amped use when paired with external processing and amplification. The unit is IP55 rated for environmental protection in outdoor and semi-exposed settings.
Typical applications include permanent outdoor installations, houses of worship, hospitality venues, and fixed sound reinforcement where weather exposure is a concern. The rotatable horn and trapezoidal enclosure enable horizontal or vertical arraying with other EVF/EVH models to tailor coverage patterns. The design supports both standalone and arrayed deployments across a range of venue sizes.
Installation and serviceability are straightforward with 22 M10 threaded suspension points and durable hardware for rigging. The fiberglass-coated birch enclosure and stainless-steel grille with hydrophobic cloth protect components from environmental ingress. The externally accessible jumper and modular input options simplify configuration and weatherization during installation.
