Description
The EVF-1122D/66-WHT is a two-way arrayable point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver controlled coverage and high intelligibility in installed sound systems. It pairs a 12 in low-frequency transducer with a 3 in titanium compression driver to produce full-bandwidth output in a compact enclosure. The white finish integrates into architectural interiors while the cabinet design supports flown and stacked arrays for scalable coverage.
Key features include a rotatable constant-directivity waveguide offering 60 x 60 coverage and an FEA-optimized 12 in woofer for low distortion and high efficiency. The DH7N 3 in titanium compression driver provides extended high-frequency output and the crossover employs 24 dB/octave slopes with HF protection. Passive and active operation options allow the EVF-1122D to be configured to meet specific system designs.
Performance highlights include a frequency response of 57 Hz – 18 kHz (-3 dB), 97 dB axial sensitivity, and a calculated maximum SPL of 131 dB. The passive system rating is 600 W continuous and 2400 W peak with nominal 8 ohm impedance. The enclosure and component choices are optimized for low distortion and consistent off-axis response to maintain vocal clarity at high SPL.
Connectivity is provided via a Phoenix/Euro Block screw-terminal input with dual four-pin 10 AWG capability. The input panel supports an externally accessible jumper to select passive or active operation and can accept optional NL4 covers or a gland-nut cover plate for weatherized installations. A 70.7/100-V transformer kit is available for distributed systems, expanding deployment options.
This loudspeaker suits a range of installed applications including small to mid-size auditoria, houses of worship, corporate AV spaces, and performance venues where precise coverage and voice clarity are required. The rotatable horn and arrayable cabinet geometry allow system designers to tailor horizontal and vertical dispersion. Weatherized FG and partially-weatherized PI variants allow use in protected outdoor or semi-exposed locations.
Installation is simplified by a trapezoidal birch enclosure coated in EVCoat and a stainless-steel grille option for weather resistance. The rigging geometry permits mixed arrays with other EVF and EVH series cabinets to scale system coverage without complex mechanical adapters. Overall, the EVF-1122D/66-WHT offers a balance of acoustic control, power handling, and installation flexibility for professional fixed installs.
