Key features include a DH7N 3in titanium compression driver coupled to a rotatable constant directivity horn and a DVX3121A 12in woofer optimized for low distortion and high efficiency. The internal passive crossover is a 4th order design with a 1,300 Hz acoustic crossover frequency and HF protection. An externally accessible jumper allows selection of passive or bi-amped operation for flexible deployment options.
Performance is specified with a very linear response from 49 Hz to 21 kHz and a calculated maximum SPL of 131 dB at 1 meter. Connectivity is handled via a dual four-pin 10 AWG Phoenix/Euroblock input panel that accepts large-gauge cable and includes a CDG dual-gland-nut input panel cover for weatherized installations. The input panel can optionally accept an NL4-type connector cover plate or a 70.7/100 V transformer kit for distributed systems. External switches allow easy selection of operating mode without opening the enclosure.
The EVF-1122D/94-FBW is suited to permanent installations such as outdoor plazas, stadium concourses, houses of worship, and theme-park attractions where exposure to the elements is expected. The trapezoidal birch enclosure and available flying hardware enable horizontal or vertical arraying with other EVF and EVH series cabinets. Rotatable horn geometry and multiple pattern choices make system coverage predictable and consistent.
Installation and long-term reliability are addressed through a fiberglass-coated 13-ply birch enclosure, stainless steel grille and fasteners, and IP55 environmental rating. The cabinet includes 22 M10 suspension points for rigging flexibility and a powder-coated steel grille backed with acoustic foam for driver protection. These design choices reduce maintenance needs while providing durable acoustic performance.
