Download Manual The EVF-1152D/64 is a two-way point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver long-throw, high-intelligibility sound in a compact enclosure. It combines a 15in low-frequency transducer and a 3in titanium compression driver on a rotatable 60 x 40 waveguide to control directivity. The enclosure is finished in white EVCoat for weather resistance and aesthetics.
Key features include the DH7N 3in titanium compression driver, the FEA-optimized DVX3151A 15in woofer, and a rotatable constant-directivity horn offering a 60 x 40 nominal coverage. The internal passive crossover is acoustically set at 1300 Hz and uses steep 24 dB/octave slopes together with HF protection circuitry. The system supports switchable passive or bi-amp operation for installation flexibility.
Performance highlights include a very linear response across the vocal range and a calculated maximum sustained SPL of 134 dB at 1 meter. Sensitivity is specified at 100 dB (1 W/1 m) and nominal impedance is 8 ohms in passive mode. Continuous power handling is 600 W with program and peak ratings of 1200 W and 2400 W respectively.
Connectivity is via a Phoenix-style Euroblock input panel that accepts up to 10 AWG conductors, and PI/FG versions can be fitted with dual NL4-type gland covers for weatherized installations. An externally accessible jumper selects passive or active operation and an optional 70.7/100 V transformer kit is available for distributed systems. Mounting and rigging accommodate 22 M10 threaded suspension points and optional flying hardware.
The EVF-1152D/64 is suitable for fixed-install environments that require precise long-throw coverage such as theatres, houses of worship, performance venues, and outdoor stages. Its rotatable horn and array-compatible rigging allow combinations with other EVF and EVH series cabinets for scalable coverage. Weather-resistant construction and IP-rated panels increase reliability in exposed locations.
Installation and maintenance are straightforward thanks to the compact trapezoidal enclosure, external mode switch, and multiple suspension points. The 13-ply birch construction combined with EVCoat finish and galvanneal grille provides durable protection and consistent acoustic performance. The unit ships in white textured paint for unobtrusive integration into installed environments.
