Description
The EVF-1152D/66-WHT is a two-way point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver clear intelligibility and high SPL in a compact trapezoidal enclosure. It pairs a 15in low-frequency transducer with a 3in titanium compression driver mounted on a Constant Directivity rotatable horn. The enclosure is coated with weather-resistant EVCoat and built from 13-ply birch for durability in fixed-install environments.
Key features include a rotatable 60 x 60 waveguide, a 1300 Hz acoustic crossover inside the cabinet, and a steep 24 dB/octave crossover slope with integrated HF protection. The woofer uses FEA-optimized motor and suspension design for low distortion and high efficiency. An externally accessible jumper allows quick selection of passive or bi-amp operation to match system needs.
Performance covers a very linear response across the vocal range with stated response figures and a calculated maximum SPL of 134 dB. System power handling is listed as 600 W continuous, 1200 W program, and 2400 W peak, with a minimum impedance of 6 ohms and nominal passive impedance of 8 ohms. The transducers are specified as a 15in DVX3151A woofer and a DH7N 3in compression driver with a 1.4in throat.
Connectivity is provided via a Phoenix-style Euroblock input panel with the option to fit a dual NL4-type cover plate or gland-nut cover for weatherized installations. An available 70.7/100 V transformer kit can be mounted to the input panel for distributed systems. Input wiring supports large gauge connectors up to 10 AWG and the unit includes an externally accessible mode switch.
The EVF-1152D/66-WHT is intended for fixed-install applications such as auditoriums, houses of worship, performance venues, and outdoor covered areas where rotatable directivity and arrayability are required. Its rigging and enclosure shape enable vertical or horizontal arrays combined with other EVF and EVH series cabinets. The waveguide options and accessory subwoofers allow tailored coverage and LF extension to meet venue needs.
Installation is simplified by multiple M10 suspension points and optional flying hardware, and the enclosure finishes and grille materials are chosen for long-term reliability in standard environments. The grille options and hydrophobic cloth variants are available for PI and FG versions to improve weather resistance. The internal protection circuitry helps protect drivers during sustained high output use.
The EVF-1152D/66-WHT combines focused 60 x 60 coverage, rotatable horn flexibility, and robust low-frequency capability into a compact, weather-protected package. It offers integrators a reliable, easy-to-configure loudspeaker that supports both passive and bi-amped deployments while maintaining clear, intelligible vocal reproduction.
