Description
The EVF-2151D-FGW is a dual 15 inch front-loaded subwoofer engineered to deliver controlled low-frequency output for fixed installations and outdoor environments. It combines high power handling with a compact, weather-resistant fiberglass enclosure for reliable performance. This model is designed to integrate into EVF and EVH series clusters and arrays for scalable low-frequency reinforcement.
Key features include two DVX3159A 15″ woofers optimized by FEA for low distortion and high intelligibility, a front steel grille backed by acoustic foam, and a fiberglass cabinet finished in white textured paint. An externally accessible jumper allows selection between passive and active operation and the input panel supports a Euroblock connector or optional NL4 gland-nut covers. A transformer kit is available for distributed 70.7/100-V systems.
Performance specifications include a near-linear frequency response centered on deep lows, a -3 dB bandwidth of 40 Hz to 2.6 kHz, and a calculated maximum SPL of 137 dB at 1 m. System power handling is rated at 1000 W continuous, 2000 W program, and 4000 W peak; sensitivity is 101 dB at 1 W/1 m. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms in passive mode and bi-amp values are indicated where applicable.
Connectivity and installation options support professional workflows: a Euroblock input is standard, PI and FG versions include a dual gland nut input panel cover, and the enclosure accepts 28 M10 threaded suspension points for rigging. The design accommodates vertical and horizontal clustering with other EVF/EVH models to build arrays. An externally accessible passive/active jumper and optional transformer allow flexible system topologies.
Typical applications include fixed installs, outdoor entertainment venues, and distributed systems that require robust low-frequency reinforcement and weather resistance. The fiberglass version provides enhanced protection against direct sun, rain, fog, and snow while preserving acoustic performance. The EVF-2151D-FGW supports single-amp channel driven setups or integration into larger multi-amplifier systems.
The enclosure and service features prioritize straightforward deployment and longevity. Stainless steel grille hardware, hydrophobic cloth behind the grille, and a weather-rated enclosure reduce maintenance in harsh environments. Comprehensive rigging points and a compact trapezoidal footprint simplify mounting and array design – helping reduce inventory needs while meeting a wide range of customer specifications.
