Key features include an internal line-matching transformer with selectable power taps, a 2nd order crossover with driver protection, and a corrosion-resistant titanium dome tweeter for extended HF performance. The front-access tap selector is reachable after removing the magnetic grille, enabling fast reconfiguration without disassembly. The loudspeaker also uses a ported, internally damped enclosure to balance LF extension and controlled dispersion.
Performance specifications support a rated frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz and a sensitivity of 87 dB SPL at 1 W/1 m – providing efficient output for background music and paging. The coverage pattern averages 115 degrees conical across the mid/high band to give wide area coverage. Power handling is specified at 75 W on an 8 ohm input and the internal protection network guards drivers against excessive input levels.
Connectivity options include an 8 ohm bypass and selectable 70 V/100 V transformer taps offering 1.8 W (70 V only), 3.7 W, 7.5 W, 15 W and 30 W settings – selectable via a front baffle switch. The rear enclosure provides a four-pin terminal block for direct 12 AWG connection and feed-through to additional speakers.
