The EVU-2062/95 is an ultracompact two-way on-wall loudspeaker designed to provide clear speech and music reproduction in tight spaces. It features dual 6.5 inch low-frequency drivers and a high-output 1.3 inch titanium compression driver. The trapezoidal enclosure and asymmetric angles help maintain close wall and ceiling clearances while delivering controlled coverage.
Key features include two FEA-optimized 6.5 inch woofers in a vented enclosure and a rotatable constant-directivity 90×50 waveguide. The titanium diaphragm compression driver provides high output and extended HF clarity. A 3rd-order passive crossover with tailored EQ delivers smooth vocal response and reliable protection for long-term operation.
Performance covers a broad frequency range with a -10 dB range of 70 – 20000 Hz and a nominal on-axis response around 100 – 16000 Hz. Calculated maximum SPL at 1 m is 125 dB and axial sensitivity is 94 dB (1 W @ 1 m). Nominal impedance is 8 ohms and the system power handling is specified as 300 W continuous, 1200 W peak.
Connectivity is handled via a 4-pin Phoenix/Euroblock screw terminal compatible with up to 10 AWG wire, and the enclosure includes barrier strip options. Six M8 suspension points and an included U-bracket allow multiple mounting orientations and unobstructed rotation. An optional 60 W 70.7/100 V transformer kit can be fitted over the input panel for distributed systems.
The EVU-2062/95 excels in applications requiring compact footprint and directional control, such as under-balcony fills, sidefills, stage lip monitoring, and foreground PA in small venues. Its rotatable horn and trapezoidal cabinet support precise coverage alignment in mixed seating and stage geometries. The speaker blends into architectural environments due to its compact dimensions and textured finish.
Built from 9-ply hardwood plywood and finished in black textured paint, the enclosure balances durability and acoustical performance. The front is protected by an 18-gauge steel grille with cloth backing and the internal crossover includes protection circuitry for reliability. Installation is straightforward using the included U-bracket or rear mounting points for third-party brackets, enabling quick deployment and accurate aiming.
