Description
The FP6020-II is a ceiling dome speaker engineered to deliver focused audio coverage in environments that need targeted sound. It integrates two full-range 25 mm concave aluminum drivers mounted in a patented Dual-Parabolic dome to create a narrow, accurate stereo footprint. The design emphasizes directional control and low visual impact through a 20.25 inch clear PETG dome.
Key features include patented Dual-Parabolic dispersion control and ZeroReflection enclosure technology to minimize cabinet reflections and improve clarity. The unit offers user-selectable high-pass filters and switchable impedance options allowing 8 ohm stereo or 4 ohm mono operation. An optional transformer is available for 25/70.7/100 V distributed systems.
Performance metrics include a frequency response that spans 130 Hz to 22 kHz at -10 dB and 170 Hz to 22 kHz at +/-3 dB, with a maximum continuous power rating of 15 W and a program power of 30 W. Sensitivity is specified at 75 dB at 2.83 V/1 m and maximum SPL at 1 m is 87 dB. Directivity parameters deliver narrow coverage, measured at approximately 30 deg at 2 kHz.
Connectivity is handled via four-conductor 16-gauge hardwire leads and an included CAT-V cable for optional accessory modules. The FP6020-II supports optional accessories such as motion sensor, LED light, scent module and amplification modules, with compatible power supplies and transformer junction boxes available. Mounting uses a single-point balanced hanging system and included hardware simplifies ceiling installs.
The FP6020-II is suited to environments that require precise audio placement including retail, hospitality and architectural spaces where sight lines matter. Its narrow coverage and stereo separation make it effective for targeted music playback and messaging in areas with defined listening zones. The clear dome and compact pod help maintain aesthetic continuity in finished ceilings.
Installation is streamlined with a single-point balanced mount, included hanging bracket and 15 ft hardwire lead. The enclosure uses high-impact polystyrene and a molded PETG dome for durability and low visual profile. Optional mounting accessories and transformer modules support flexible integration into distributed audio systems.
