The SoundTube FP6030-II is a pendant high-directivity speaker designed to deliver focused stereo audio in open spaces. It uses two 1.00 in concave aluminum full-range drivers housed in separate sealed compartments to preserve stereo separation and intelligibility. The long parabolic dome form provides a discreet visual profile while shaping a narrow controlled coverage pattern.
Key features include patented Dual-Parabolic dispersion control and ZeroReflection enclosure technology to minimize reflections and preserve clarity. The unit offers user-selectable high-pass filtering and can be wired as 8 ohm stereo or 4 ohm mono, with an optional transformer for distributed 25/70.7/100-volt systems. The clear PETG dome reduces visual impact while maintaining acoustic performance.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 160 Hz – 22 kHz (-3 dB) and 130 Hz – 22 kHz (-10 dB), a sensitivity of 75 dB, and a 15 W RMS continuous power rating. Maximum SPL at 1 m is 87.0 dB and program power is 30 W. The average coverage angle across 2 – 10 kHz is approximately 45 deg for precise targeting.
Connectivity is via four-conductor 16-gauge hardwire leads and a CAT-V cable is provided for optional accessories. Optional modules are available such as motion sensor, LED light, amplifier, and a scent unit; these modules require specified external 15 V power supplies. Transformer-equipped junction boxes are available for constant-voltage installations.
The FP6030-II suits applications that require focused background music or intelligible paging where controlled coverage and stereo presentation matter. Typical installations include retail atriums, transportation hubs, restaurants, and corporate lobbies where ceiling-mounted omni coverage would be undesirable. Its narrow dispersion reduces spill into adjacent zones.
Installation is simplified by a single-point balanced mounting system, included hanging hardware, mounting bushing, and a 15-foot hardwire lead. The enclosure and grille use durable high-impact polystyrene and the dome is custom-molded clear PETG. Optional mounting accessories and bulk packaging options are available for large deployments.
