Description
The Solidcom M1 Pro is a full-duplex wireless intercom system designed to provide clear conversational communication for production teams and event staff. The system ships with a base station, four factory-paired beltpacks and dual-ear LEMO headsets and supports expansion up to eight users per system. Operating in the 1.9 GHz band, the M1 Pro avoids common interference and delivers reliable voice links in crowded RF environments.
The M1 Pro uses full-duplex transmission and auto-frequency-hopping to enable natural two-way conversations and reduce interference. Dual-microphone environmental noise cancellation and electret-condenser microphones produce a wide 200 Hz to 7 kHz frequency response and a high 16 kHz sampling rate for intelligible speech. Built-in and detachable external antennas extend coverage and provide flexible deployment options.
Range performance varies by antenna configuration – the built-in panel antenna supports up to approximately 1300 ft in front and 160 ft behind the base station while the supplied external antennas provide near-360 degree coverage to about 985 ft radius. RF parameters include GFSK modulation, approximately 1.72 MHz RF bandwidth and an RF sensitivity near -93 dBm. Each beltpack accepts two removable Li-ion batteries that charge in 2.5 hours and deliver up to six hours runtime per battery.
Connectivity includes XLR 2-wire and RJ45 4-wire interfaces, PoE/LAN power support, cascade interfaces for linking multiple base stations, and a 3.5 mm jack plus LEMO headset connection on beltpacks. The base station supports PoE power or AC and offers a dual NP-F battery plate for portable workflows. Beltpacks can be paired and grouped via USB, the Solidcom app or a private webpage for simple field configuration.
Typical deployments include small to mid-sized events such as concerts, houses of worship, exhibitions and corporate productions where clear crew coordination is required. The system also scales for larger deployments by cascading base stations to support up to 24 headsets and extended coverage. Grouping modes allow dedicated channels for lighting, cameras or stage management to keep communications organized.
Built for on-site use, the M1 Pro beltpacks feature double-injection molding and a scratch-resistant matte finish for ergonomic handling and durability. The HD LCD and tactile, shaped buttons reduce accidental inputs in low-light conditions. With factory pairing, simple USB pairing, and app/web configuration, the system is straightforward to install and operate while providing broadcast-oriented audio quality and flexible powering options.
