Description
The Solidcom M1 Pro is a 1.9 GHz full-duplex wireless intercom system designed to provide clear conversational communication for production teams. It supports up to eight beltpacks and includes professional dual-ear LEMO headsets. The system uses full-duplex transmission so users can talk and listen simultaneously without push-to-talk delays.
Key features include 1.9 GHz operation, full-duplex conversations, auto-frequency-hopping, and dual-microphone environmental noise cancellation. The system ships with a base station, eight beltpacks, eight wired dual-ear headsets, two external antennas, and a charging base. Grouping and cascade functions let you configure teams and expand coverage when needed.
Performance-focused specifications include a 16 kHz sampling rate, 200 Hz to 7 kHz frequency response, and GFSK modulation for reliable RF links. The base station offers both internal and detachable external antennas to extend coverage up to approximately 985 ft radius with external antennas attached. RF sensitivity is rated at -93 dBm and the RF bandwidth is 1.72 MHz.
Connectivity options include 2-wire XLR, 4-wire RJ45, PoE/LAN, cascade interfaces, and 3.5 mm plus LEMO headset jacks on the beltpacks. The system can be configured via the Solidcom app or a private webpage and supports cascading two base stations using standard network or XLR cables to support up to 24 headsets. The base supports PoE power and includes an AC adapter.
Typical use cases include small- to mid-sized events such as concerts, houses of worship, exhibitions, and corporate productions that require reliable crew communications. The system handles noisy environments using ENC and broadcast-grade microphones while enabling role-based grouping for camera, lighting, and stage crews. Cascade capability makes it suitable for larger venues when two systems are linked.
Installation and daily operation are straightforward – beltpacks are factory paired and can be re-paired via USB if needed. Each beltpack uses two removable Li-ion batteries that charge in 2.5 hours and provide up to six hours runtime per battery. The beltpack housing uses double-injection molding with a matte finish and an HD LCD to present status information clearly on the fly.
