Description
The Solidcom M1 Pro is a full-duplex wireless intercom system designed to provide clear, conversational communications for small to mid-sized productions. It supports eight beltpacks and includes single-ear LEMO headsets for immediate deployment. The system operates on the 1.9 GHz band to minimize interference with other wireless devices.
Key capabilities include true full-duplex audio, auto-frequency-hopping to avoid interference, and advanced dual-microphone environmental noise cancellation. The beltpacks feature professional electret-condenser microphones and an HD LCD for status monitoring. Groups and talk modes are managed via the base station, the Solidcom app, or a private webpage.
Audio performance is optimized with a 16 kHz sampling rate and a frequency response of 200 Hz to 7 kHz for intelligible speech even in noisy environments. The dual-mic ENC reduces background noise while preserving clarity and natural timbre. Factory pairing and USB-based pairing simplify field setup and replacement beltpacks.
Connectivity includes a built-in panel antenna for directional coverage and two external fiberglass antennas for 360 degree transmission when required. The base station offers 2-wire XLR, 4-wire RJ45, PoE/LAN power, and cascade interfaces for system expansion. A sidetone function lets users confirm microphone and beltpack operation at the user end.
Typical applications include live events, houses of worship, corporate AV, and exhibitions where clear crew communications are essential. The system covers rows of seating and medium venue floors using the built-in panel antenna or the external antenna set for wider radius coverage. Cascade linking supports larger deployments by joining a second M1 Pro for up to 24 headsets.
Installation and daily use are focused on simplicity and durability – beltpacks ship factory paired and the charging base handles all eight units. Beltpack construction uses double-injection molding and a scratch-resistant matte finish for a secure grip. Removable Li-ion batteries charge in approximately 2.5 hours and provide six hours runtime per battery for extended shifts.
