The HT-RANGER2 is a BYOD presentation switcher that brings wired and wireless sources together for streamlined room presentations. It supports multiple wireless protocols and standard wired interfaces to enable quick content sharing. The unit is designed to simplify signal management and reduce setup time in meeting spaces.
Key capabilities include dual-view presentation, automatic signal switching, and a 4-input/2-output USB3.0 switcher for shared peripherals. The built-in Wi-Fi module supports AirPlay, Miracast, Smart View and HT-VOYAGER protocols to allow native device casting. The system also provides CEC control and a Guide Screen to help presenters identify inputs and connection status.
The HT-RANGER2 accepts HDMI inputs up to 4K@30Hz 4:4:4 and produces HDMI outputs up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 while HDBT output is 4:2:0. USB-C ports carry video, USB3.0 data, charging and Ethernet to connected laptops. The integrated Ethernet switch includes a security-focused design to maintain network stability and device isolation.
Connectivity options cover HDMI and USB-C video, USB-A peripheral sharing, analog audio output and wireless casting via AirPlay/Miracast/Smart View/HT-VOYAGER. Laptops using USB-C can access USB peripherals such as cameras and microphones attached to the unit. Device control is available through a Web UI and Telnet API for remote management and automation.
Typical applications include conference rooms, classrooms and huddle spaces where multiple presenters connect different device types. The dual-view and full-screen modes let facilitators show two sources simultaneously or swap to a single source without interrupting the session. The unit reduces cable changes and supports a range of modern meeting workflows.
Installation and day-to-day operation are simplified by automatic switching, an intuitive On-Screen Display and included mounting hardware. The product ships with external antennas, a DC power adapter and multiple connector options to fit standard AV installations.
