Description
The AJA Io Xpand (IO-XPAND) is a Thunderbolt 5 PCIe expansion chassis that enables a full-height, half-length PCIe card to connect to Mac Windows or Linux systems via Thunderbolt or USB4 ports.
It provides an 8-lane mechanical x4 electrical PCIe 4.0 slot supporting single- or double-width cards and PCIe cards with daughter cards plus a 6-pin auxiliary power connector for cards that require supplemental power. The chassis delivers up to 6000 MB/s bi-directional PCIe throughput to the installed card.
The lightweight aluminum enclosure offers temperature-controlled quiet operation and includes a Thunderbolt 5 cable and securing bracket. Io Xpand supports Thunderbolt 5/4/3 and USB4 and is available in optional bundles with AJA KONA PCIe I/O cards for video and audio workflows.
