The NSD-5501Q is a 55in 4K UHD digital signage display designed to deliver high resolution visual communication in commercial environments. It integrates an Android operating system and an embedded 4K media player to provide multiple content publishing options. The display offers 8.3 million pixels for detailed imagery and smooth video playback.
Key features include an embedded 4K media player supporting USB and micro SD playback and internal storage scheduling controlled via remote. The display includes an image enhancer suite with 3D Comb Filter, 3D Deinterlace, Noise Reduction, and Freeze functions to preserve clarity. Patented Anti-Burn-in technology helps prevent LCD ghosting and extends panel life.
Technically, the panel is a 54.6in VA LCD with UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio, and 5 ms response time. Color depth supports 1.07 billion colors and viewing angles are 178deg horizontal and vertical. The unit runs Android 5.0.1 on a 1 GHz quad core CPU with 2 GB DDR3 memory and 8 GB eMMC storage.
Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 x2, DVI-D, VGA, stereo audio in/out, USB 2.0/3.0, micro SD slot, RJ45 LAN, IR in/out, RS232 in/out and IR/RS232 loop-through for daisy chaining control. The display supports full-screen HTML5 playback and PDF display for dynamic content and existing presentations. Internal 10W x2 speakers provide basic audio support for signage content.
Typical applications include retail storefronts, corporate lobbies, transportation hubs, and hospitality information displays where 4K clarity and scheduled content playback are required. The embedded browser and CMS compatibility enable live updates for web content, social feeds, and dynamic information. The display can function as a single-point control node in multi-display installations using IR/RS232 daisy chaining.
Installation is simplified by VESA mounting patterns (400 x 400 mm & 400 x 200 mm) and an internal power supply accepting AC 100-240V at 50/60 Hz. Operating range is 5degC to 40degC with non-condensing humidity up to 80 percent. The robust anti-glare surface and 3H hard coating improve durability and reduce reflections in bright environments.
