The SM890i-WX-WH is an 8-inch surface-mount loudspeaker engineered for high-SPL foreground music and sound reinforcement. It combines an 8-inch treated-fiber woofer and a compression horn transducer to provide clear vocal intelligibility and extended dynamic range. The enclosure and hardware are corrosion-resistant for indoor and outdoor installations.
Key features include a high-efficiency 8-inch low-frequency driver, a 36 mm titanium compression high-frequency driver, and the BroadBeamHP waveguide for consistent dispersion. A six-position tap switch with transformer bypass and a 150 W low-insertion-loss transformer support 25/70.7/100 V systems or low-impedance 8 ohm operation. The rotatable bayonet-mounted horn and Stealth bracket enable precise aiming and tailored coverage.
Performance specifications include a frequency response rated at 100 Hz to 22 kHz (-3 dB) and a sensitivity of 93 dB SPL at 1 m/1 W. Maximum continuous RMS power is 150 W with 300 W program power and a 115 dB maximum SPL at 1 m.
