It provides automatic input selection and manual override to ensure the active source displays immediately. The switcher supports auto-switching by priority or last-connected input and can be overridden by front-panel selection. It includes intelligent EDID handling to ensure source and display compatibility and audio de-embedding to supply local balanced analog audio. The device accepts PoE powering or an optional 5V DC adapter and includes network control for remote management.
Performance supports an 18 Gbps data rate and full HDMI 2.0b capabilities including deep color, HDR, 3D and HDCP 2.2 content protection. Audio handling covers up to 32 channels of digital audio and Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD formats, while the analog balanced stereo output provides local playback and integration with professional audio systems. The unit is convection cooled in a compact aluminum DemiTOOLS form factor.
Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, a balanced stereo audio 5-pin terminal block output, RS-232 control, six GPIO lines, and a PoE-enabled RJ45 network port. The built-in control gateway enables IP-driven control of connected HDMI devices and sensors via RS-232 or I/O. Standard IT-grade 802.1x authentication secures LAN access for managed deployments.
The SWT3-21-H is suitable for meeting rooms, training rooms and lecture spaces requiring automatic source selection and simple control integration.
