The SWT3-81-PR is an 8×1 presentation switcher designed to manage AV and USB streams across local and remote displays. It accepts USB-C and HDMI sources and provides mirrored HDMI output plus an interchangeable HDBaseT 3.0 port. The unit supports multi-view layouts and fast switching for live presentations and collaborative sessions.
Key capabilities include dual-screen USB-C MST support, advanced multi-view processing such as side-by-side and picture-in-picture, and built-in ProcAmp scaling for up or down conversion. The switcher performs AV and USB routing with sub-second switching times and supports HDCP 2.3. Integrated audio DSP provides echo cancellation and enhancement for clear room audio.
Video performance reaches up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 24bpp with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbps and minimum input scaled resolution of 480p. The device supports up to two simultaneous AV streams from USB-C inputs and offers multi-view layouts for up to four inputs. Latency is minimized with a maximum frame latency of 2 frames and switching under 1 second.
Connectivity includes 2 full-featured USB-C inputs, 6 HDMI inputs, mirrored HDMI output, an interchangeable HDBaseT RJ-45 port, multiple USB 3.2 host and device ports, gigabit LAN and management Ethernet, RS-232 and GPIO control. Audio I/O covers analog mic and balanced outputs plus audio embedding and de-embedding. PoE and PD charging are supported on the HDBaseT and USB-C ports respectively.
Typical applications include conference rooms, lecture halls, and hybrid meeting spaces where BYOD and UCC systems coexist. The unit supports hosting of displays and USB devices by either a laptop or a dedicated UCC endpoint and extends signals over twisted-pair copper runs up to 100m. Security features include HTTPS Web-UI, 802.1x authentication, and OWASP-10 penetration protection.
Installation is simplified by a compact 1U 19-inch enclosure, fan ventilation, and an interchangeable HDBaseT port that can act as transmit or receive. Power input accepts 85-240V AC and the unit provides PoE+ and USB-C PD charging where required. The SWT3-81-PR is built for integration and managed operation in enterprise AV deployments.
