Download Manual The TP-122XL is a twisted pair receiver designed to restore computer graphics video and unbalanced stereo audio delivered over UTP/STP cable. It converts the incoming twisted pair stream back to a WUXGA or 1080p VGA video output plus unbalanced stereo and S/PDIF digital audio outputs. The unit is compact and intended to extend high-resolution video and audio signals across long cable runs.
The receiver supports resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p and includes adjustable gain and equalization controls to optimize picture quality. It provides increased interference protection to maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The device also supports audio extraction to both analog stereo and S/PDIF digital outputs.
On the performance side the TP-122XL delivers 20 Hz to 20 kHz audio bandwidth at -3 dB and an audio signal-to-noise ratio of 84 dB. Total audio gain is 0 dB for analog-to-analog and -12 dBFS for analog-to-S/PDIF conversion, while THD+N remains below 0.02%. Video performance reaches up to WUXGA with compatibility for HDTV formats.
Connectivity includes a single 15-pin HD VGA input, a 3.5 mm unbalanced stereo input jack, and an RJ-45 twisted pair input compatible with CAT 5 UTP or shielded STP. The Power Connect system allows a single power connection at either the transmitter or receiver to power both units when they are within 60m / 200ft of each other. System range exceeds 250m / 820ft depending on cable quality and environment.
Typical applications include presentation and multimedia systems, long-range graphics distribution in schools and hospitals, retail signage and security monitoring environments. The device is suitable for installations that require remote display placement while preserving high-resolution video and clean audio. Its interference protection and long reach make it practical for electrically noisy or physically challenging runs.
