Description
The HORIZON VHA 406, a new passive vertical/horizontal bass-reflex line array subwoofer from FBT, is a compact, flexible, and easy solution, featuring 4 x 6.5” woofers with 1.5” voice coils and a custom 1.4” neodymium compression driver with 2.5” voice coil. The waveguide, designed specifically for this product, is optimized with BEM (Boundary Element Method) for a horizontal dispersion of 90° and a vertical dispersion of 20°. The HORIZON VHA 406 meets the following performance criteria: recommended amplifier power of 800W RMS / 8Ohms and capable of achieving 134dB SPL. There is a passive crossover internal. Using external DSP with FBT presets in mandatory and allows for creating various configurations. The reflex line array cabinet offers a frequency response from 65Hz to 20kHz and can extend and reinforce low frequencies when paired with a ground-stack configuration using the VHA 118S or/and VHA 112S. The construction materials of the HORIZON VHA 406 meet the highest professional standards to ensure maximum reliability; the cabinet is made of 0.47” birch plywood with anti-scratch varnish and is equipped with two handles with rubber inserts and integrated mechanics, compatible with VHA 112S to be use in the same cluster, to join the speakers and angle them from 5° to 20° in 5° steps. The rear-facing input panel provides two Neutrik NL4M Speakon connectors In & link and the front of the loudspeaker is covered with a powder-coated perforated steel grille. The HORIZON VHA 406 also boasts integrated quick-release anchor points that facilitate the creation of horizontal and vertical arrays using the dedicated flybar and provides a wide range of accessories for suspension, pole-mounting, or ground-stackingFeatures
