Description
The VoiceTRX50 is an automated voice-tracking control interface that enables hands-free multi-camera switching driven by audio activity. It senses audio from USB mixers and instantly selects the active speaker’s camera feed to produce natural, broadcast-style cuts. The unit supports 4K60 HDMI outputs and network control for streamlined integration into AV systems.
Key capabilities include voice-activated camera switching, Virtual Director logic to insert overview shots during extended speech, and CG subtitle integration when used with compatible Datavideo switchers. The system reacts to audio from a broad range of USB mixers and affordable USB audio interfaces so you can maintain existing audio hardware. Automatic firmware updates and a web browser UI simplify configuration and maintenance.
Technically, the VoiceTRX50 accepts audio streams from USB mixers and maps active channels to PTZ or camera sources via DVIP control commands. It provides two HDMI 2.0 video outputs capable of up to 3840x2160p 60 and supports Power over Ethernet to simplify cabling. Power input uses an AC 100~240V switching adaptor with a DC 12V / 1A output and the device supports automatic firmware upgrade functionality.
Connectivity includes a 1x RJ-45 Female 10/100/1000M Ethernet port with DHCP/Static IP, DVIP control integration, and compatibility with a wide list of USB mixers and audio interfaces. The VoiceTRX50 interoperates with Datavideo switchers such as iCast 10NDI series and several SE series models for subtitle and label output. It also supports common mixers from Zoom, SoundCraft, M-Audio, Tascam and Behringer for accurate speaker detection.
Typical applications include podcasts, panel discussions, classrooms, creator studios and small to medium meeting rooms where automated producer-less switching improves engagement. The Virtual Director feature and home-first switching behavior create smooth transitions that mirror live production pacing. The device is suited to live streaming, recording, and hybrid presentations where speaker identification and camera focus matter.
Installation and operation are designed for simplicity – a browser-based UI provides configuration and status monitoring and PoE+ removes the need for a separate DC feed in many setups. Integration with existing mixers is supported via inexpensive USB audio interfaces plugged into auxiliary outputs, so replacement of current audio gear is not required. The compact design and network control options make deployment and remote management straightforward.
