The ZX3-60PI-W is a 12in passive loudspeaker engineered for reliable outdoor and indoor sound reinforcement. It combines a 12in low-frequency transducer and a neodymium compression driver to deliver high output and clear vocal reproduction. The enclosure is molded polymer and engineered for weather resistance and long-term reliability.
This model provides a 60° x 60° coverage pattern designed for long-throw and cluster applications. Power handling is specified at 600W continuous and 2400W peak, offering headroom for dynamic program material. Sensitivity and SPL ratings enable efficient performance in both fixed installations and portable setups.
Frequency response extends from 58 Hz to 15 kHz (-3 dB) with a wider range to 48 Hz – 20 kHz (-10 dB), and the recommended high-pass is 50 Hz. The loudspeaker uses a DVX3121 12in LF driver with forced-air voice coil cooling and an ND2 1in exit neodymium compression driver. The design yields a calculated maximum SPL of 131 dB and a crossover at 2 kHz for coherent band integration.
Connectivity is via a 2-conductor SJO cable with a gland nut input for weather resistance and straightforward wiring. The enclosure supports passive operation at 8 ohms nominal impedance and biamp options with separate LF and HF power ratings. Mounting and rigging are simplified by multiple integral suspension points and anchor plate locations for single-stud fittings.
The ZX3-60PI-W fits applications including outdoor paging, small to medium live performance venues, houses of worship, and portable PA systems. It can be used as a main loudspeaker, a cluster element, or a floor monitor set at 45° or 55° angles without extra accessories.
