The ZX5-60B is a passive 15 inch loudspeaker designed to deliver focused speech and music reinforcement for medium to large venues. It pairs a high-excursion low frequency transducer with a neodymium compression driver to provide high output and extended low end. The enclosure is engineered for durability and stage use while maintaining a compact footprint.
Key features include the DVX3150 15 inch LF transducer with forced-air voice coil cooling and the ND2 neodymium compression driver with a 1 inch exit. The speaker provides a 60 x 60 degree coverage pattern intended for long-throw and cluster applications and can be used in passive or biamp configurations. It has selectable biamp/LF and HF handling and a crossover at 1.5 kHz to optimize driver integration.
Performance specifications deliver a frequency response of 58 Hz to 18 kHz (-3 dB) and a rated range to 39 Hz (-10 dB). Sensitivity is 98 dB (1 W/1 m) with a maximum calculated SPL of 132 dB, and the passive power handling is 600 W continuous (2400 W peak).
